WHAT PROCESS IS USED ON CUSTOMIZATION
We use a laser-marking technique that creates a permanent finish on the exterior of your Rambler®. That means as long as your customized YETI is in one piece, so is your customization. This process creates the most premium, durable finish, which won’t crack or peel off over time. It will also keep your five-year warranty intact and ensures a quality customization process.
HOW LONG DOES CUSTOMIZATION TAKE?
Our production timeline shifts daily depending on overall order volume. We process all orders on a first-come-first-serve basis and we promise we are working as hard as we can to get your order in your hands as quickly as possible. Once your custom order is reviewed and approved by our internal team, you will receive an email with an estimated ship window.
Can I edit my custom order?
We are unable to edit orders after they are placed. Please note, there is a short window of time after order placement when your order can be cancelled. Simply navigate to order history inside your account, or visit the order status link here.
WHAT IS THE YETI RETURN POLICY FOR CUSTOMIZED DRINKWARE?
Customized items are non-refundable and cannot be canceled once you have submitted the order. All sales of customized products are final.
WHY WAS MY CUSTOM ORDER CANCELLED?
YETI reserves the right to cancel any orders that contain text that is offensive, political, or subject to copyright protection. Orders that are cancelled will be refunded within 5-7 days.
WHICH COLOUR DURACOAT SHOWS CUSTOMIZATION THE BEST?
While we think customization shows up great on all of our Rambler colours, you can see an example below of how the same image appears on our darkest and lightest colours. If you want to see how it looks on a different colour, no worries, you’ll also get to see a proof of your customization before you place your order on the website.
CAN I MARK BOTH SIDES OF THE RAMBLER DRINKWARE?
Yes. For an additional fee of C$ 9 per unit we can mark the back side with the same or a different design (e.g. logo on one side and a name on the other).
WHAT IS FORMAL MONOGRAMMING?
For three-letter monograms, YETI uses a formal monogram format. This means that the last initial will be displayed in the centre position. All you have to do is enter your initials as first, middle, last, and our systems will take care of the rest.
WILL YOU BE ADDING MORE IMAGES TO THE DESIGN GALLERIES?

HOW DO I ORDER A CUSTOM RAMBLER DRINKWARE?

WHAT ARE THE FEES ASSOCIATED WITH CUSTOMIZATION?
On Rambler Drinkware products, there is a C$ 9 embellishment fee for all custom monograms, text, or any of our design gallery images. For orders of 24 units or more, front-side embellishment fees will be waived, but any back-side customization fees will still apply.
In addition, each unique custom logo added to the Rambler will result in a C$ 13 custom logo fee. The C$ 13 custom logo fee will only be assessed one time per logo or image per order, so if you’re using the same image on multiple products like a Rambler, a Colster, and a Bottle, there’s only one custom logo fee. However, if you are using two unique logos on the same Rambler, you will have two separate custom logo fees.
CAN I SHIP CUSTOMIZED PRODUCT INTERNATIONALLY?

CUSTOM ARTWORK
Can YETI create my logo?
While we will do our best to make your design look great on the Rambler, we do not create new logos or provide edits to uploaded artwork as part of our service. Be sure to upload your logo exactly as it is intended to look on the Rambler for the best outcome.
What file type does my logo need to be?
Please submit your custom logo in one of the following formats: .PNG, .JPG, .GIF, .SVG, .WEBP, or .BMP.
Uploading a Sketch or Drawing?
1. Start with a rough draft: you won't want any eraser marks on your uploaded photo.
2. Use a blank white piece of paper and a thick, dark marker.
3. Simple line drawings work best.
4. Take photo in a well-lit area. Do not use flash.
5. Double check your proof: check for stray marks or dots and crop these out.
How do I customize with AI?
Describe what you want to design and submit your prompt. When in doubt, go with simple descriptions and generic terms. The AI generator will create up to four images with each prompt. If you don’t love your results, you can hit refresh or try re-wording the prompt. Visit our AI Customization FAQ for more information about this process.
DO YOU HAVE GUIDELINES OR RESTRICTIONS FOR CUSTOM ART AND DESIGN GALLERIES?
All images and text are reviewed upon submission. Our review process uses artificial intelligence to automatically interpret, analyze and detect the images and texts that are submitted in line with the guidelines and restrictions below. Please contact us with any questions about this process.
LICENSED AND COPYRIGHT IMAGES/TEXT
YETI respects the intellectual property rights of others and we ask that you do the same. If your submission infringes any copyrights or trademarks, your order will be cancelled and refunded.
If you are submitting a company, collegiate, or military logo on behalf of your business, we recommend contacting our Corporate Sales team prior to placing your order. YETI will require appropriate authorizations for any licensed or copyright images or text.
TEXT
YETI has the sole discretion to reject any order that it considers is libellous, defamatory, obscene, profane, portraying irresponsible use of alcohol or other substances, advocating persecution based on gender, age, race, religion, disability or national origin, containing explicit sexual content or otherwise inappropriate for production.
POLITICAL
Starting with our first customized Ramblers in 2015, we’ve used our best efforts to avoid creating custom products with political affiliations or associations. Because the process we use to identify political affiliations and associations involves human judgment, we may inadvertently accept an order and mark a YETI product with a candidate’s name or campaign slogan simply because we weren’t familiar with it when the order was placed. If that happens, it’s an honest mistake and shouldn’t be construed as YETI’s endorsement of a particular affiliation or association (unless, of course, we explicitly make a statement of endorsement).
PHOTOS
Photographs and QR codes are not compatible with laser engraving and are not recommended. Due to our marking process, we are unable to convert photo-based images into a printable design. Since the lasers do not mark in greyscale, only black, lifelike images have to be turned into line drawings and most of the details are lost. Our customization process is optimal for logos and line art (vector art).
ARTWORK QUALITY
Due to our laser marking process, we are unable to print fine lines, dots, highly detailed designs, or text smaller than 10 pt font. We accept images in PNG, JPG, GIF, SVG, WEBP, and BMP format. Your logo must be at least 300 px in width or height, excluding whitespace. A high resolution or vector version of your logo will work the best. Logos will appear in stainless steel. We are unable to print color, and we are unable to crop or edit the logo once submitted.
INVERSION
We suggest a high-resolution version of your logo with a white background and a black or dark-colored foreground. White logos on transparent backgrounds or logos that do not have enough contrast will not convert properly. Our lasers will mark the black areas of your image. You can use the inversion tool while customizing your product to reverse the black and white areas of your image.
CROPPING
Any borders, lines, or stray specks in your image will appear on your customized product. You can use the cropping tool while customizing your product to remove any edge lines or elements you do not wish to appear on your customized product.
How large can you print my design?
Some things to remember: Your logo or design may not fill up the entire marking area, but artwork will be centered within the marking area. We are unable to move artwork around the marking area. You can click and drag the corners of your image to increase or decrease the size of your image within the marking area.
All Rambler products include a YETI logo embossed on one side. In order to make sure your image looks as clean as possible, our available marking area does not include this embossment. Duracoat products also include a laser-marked YETI logo, which affects the available marking area for those products.
