How does this cooler differ from Tundra® Hard Coolers?
Tundra® Coolers use thick PermaFrost™ Foam Insulation, while YETI V Series® Coolers primarily use vacuum insulation: one of the best-known insulators, and the same technology used in our Rambler® Drinkware.
Is there a warranty?

How do I clean it?
For general cleaning we recommend using soap and warm water. For a more thorough cleansing and strong odor problems, use a 6:1 solution of warm water and bleach with a sponge or mildly abrasive rag.
Will my YETI® Cooler keep my hot items hot?
Yes. The same vacuum insulation that keeps this stainless steel cooler cold also retains heat. To ensure you don’t damage your premium cooler, we recommend you keep contents below 200ºF.
How do I remove rust from my YETI V Series® Cooler?
Should rust occur, keep your premium cooler in prime condition by using a stainless steel cleaner, baking soda, or a vinegar solution.
Is the YETI V Series® Cooler "grizzly-resistant"?
The YETI V Series® Cooler was not designed for the Interagency Grizzly Bear Committee test as it does not have lock ports. If you need IGBC certified coolers, check out our full Tundra® Coolers line.
Are there replacement parts?
We have replacement parts for the latch, handles, and hinges. Though our stainless steel cooler is made with durability at the forefront, our outfitter team is here to help if you need any repairs.
Can I use dry ice?
Can I sit or stand on the cooler?
This cooler's lid supports a least 300 lbs. However, though the inside stays nice and cold, the stainless steel exterior can get hot in the sun, so please be careful during any barefoot escapades.
