What is a YETI Rambler®?

YETI Drinkware is over-engineered. Our stainless steel Tumblers, Bottles, Colster® Can Insulators, Mugs, Wine Tumblers, Stackable Pints and Jugs are designed with double-wall vacuum insulation, and a No Sweat™ Design. The tumblers will keep your soda, beer, wine, smoothie, or mixed drinks ice cold. And the Colster Can Insulators are like a steel bear hug for your cans and longnecks. As for our bottles, they go wherever there’s a need for ice-cold or piping-hot beverages. They’re designed for easy loading, drinking, and cleaning. Select Rambler sizes come in a range of Duracoat™ Colours.

Is there a warranty on the Rambler?

Rambler Drinkware comes with a five year warranty. For more information, please visit our Warranty Information page.

Are Rambler products BPA free?

Yes. All YETI drinkware is BPA free. Learn more here.

WHAT'S THE WARNING LABEL AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE FOR MY RAMBLER DRINKWARE?

Warnings and Care and Use instructions are dependent on the lid or cap being utilized. Rambler® Bottles are not intended for use with carbonated beverages or for storage of perishables, including food and drinks that will spoil. These items can cause pressure to build up over time which can result in the cap being difficult to remove; or, forcefully eject and cause injury. The Rambler® Straw Cap and Rambler® Straw Lid are not intended for use with hot beverages. Please see below warnings to ensure you are using your Rambler® Bottle and cap as intended.

Which Rambler is right for me?

The YETI drinkware line has expanded a great deal since we first came out with the Rambler Tumbler. In addition to our tumblers, YETI now offers Bottles, Jugs, Colster Can Insulators, Mugs, the 295 ml Lowball, Stackable Pints, and the Wine Tumbler. The best answer will depend on what your drinking style is.

If you want your Rambler to be 100% leakproof, we suggest a Rambler Jug, or a Rambler Bottle with a Chug, HotShot™, MagDock™, or Cup Cap. Even with the MagSlider™ Lid, Rambler Tumblers are just splash-resistant, which means they’ll keep a drink in its place over a speed bump, but if tipped over in a backpack or jostled in traffic, some liquid will spill out due to pressure releasing inside the tumbler.

If you’re still not sure which Rambler is right for you, contact our Outfitter team, and they’ll help you out.

How long will my Rambler keep ice?

Due to all the variables that can affect ice retention, we can’t guarantee a precise amount of time that your Rambler will hold ice. However, more ice is better when it comes to your Rambler Tumblers or Bottles. We suggest filling your Rambler with as much ice as possible.

Ice is melting in my Rambler as quickly as a plastic cup. Why?

We designed the Rambler Tumblers and Bottles to live up to the YETI standard, which means unbeatable durability and unparalleled ice retention. If you feel like your Rambler is underperforming, reach out about your YETI Warranty. We take pride in the products we make. If anything is wrong, we’ll make it right. Read up on our Warranty Policy to determine if a Warranty Claim is necessary.

Can I get my Rambler customized?

If you are interested in placing a custom corporate order, please fill out this form or contact the Corporate Sales team at 647-493-8460 or canadacorporate@yeti.com for more information.

How do you clean the Chug Cap?

You can always wash your bottle and cap by hand, or simply let the dishwasher do the hard work. Just remember to put everything in the right place, to ensure each component comes out nice and clean.

  • Rambler Bottle body: Standing upside down on the top or bottom rack (depending on where it fits best).
  • Lids/Bottle Caps: Top rack of the dishwasher away from the heat.
  • Gaskets: Silverware tray on the bottom rack.

For information on how to clean all Rambler Caps and Lids visit here.

Can I use hot, carbonated or pulpy liquids in my Rambler® Jr. 355 ml kids bottle?

Do not use the Rambler® Jr. 355 ml Kids Bottle with hot, carbonated, pulpy or perishable beverages. Over time, food and liquid can cause pressure to build inside the bottle. If pressure buildup occurs, the cap can be difficult to remove; or forcefully eject and cause injury.

Can I buy the Rambler Jr. 355 ml Kids Bottle coloured cap separate?

No, the coloured Straw Caps were specially designed for the Rambler Jr. line, but can fit on all YETI Bottles.

Can Insulators

WHAT TYPES OF CANS FIT IN EACH SIZED COLSTER® CAN INSULATOR?

  • 355 ml Colster® Can Insulator fits most standard 355 ml cans and some longneck bottles
  • Slim Can Colster® Can Insulator fits most slim cans such as those containing hard seltzers and energy drinks.
  • The Tall Can Colster® Can Insulator fits most 473 ml cans including many craft beers.

WHICH REPLACEMENT GASKET SHOULD I PURCHASE FOR MY COLSTER® CAN INSULATOR?

There are two new replacement gaskets for the new range of Colster® Can Insulators. One size fits the Standard and Tall Can Colster® Can Insulators, and the smaller diameter size fits the Slim Can Colster® Can Insulator.

Please Note: These gaskets will not fit the original Colster® Can Insulator models.

WHY DID WE UPDATE THE RAMBLER® COLSTER CAN INSULATOR? WAS THERE SOMETHING WRONG WITH IT?

We refreshed the design with a seamless look and an updated Load-and-Lock® Gasket that requires only a quarter-turn to secure.

We added two new Colster® Can Insulator sizes to the suite to ensure we have the best can insulator for your preferred beverage.

Accessories

What is a MagSlider Lid?

We're glad you asked. Built for our Rambler Tumblers, this closable lid harnesses the power of magnets to help protect against splashes on the go. Learn more about what makes the MagSlider so special here or by watching the video below.

Does my Rambler lid close?

Using the power of magnets, your MagSlider Lid absolutely closes. If you want the most leak resistance, we suggest a Rambler Bottle or Rambler Jug. Even with a MagSlider lid, the Rambler Tumblers are leak-resistant, not leakproof. If tipped over in a backpack, or jostled in traffic, some liquid will spill out due to pressure releasing inside the tumbler.

How do I clean my MagSlider Lid?

The MagSlider Lid is dishwasher safe and easy to clean by hand. Just pop off the MagSlider, rinse it off and return to the Slider Lid. That's it! Learn more about the MagSlider and cleaning info here.

Can I purchase the MagSlider magnet part separately?

Yes, you can purchase the MagSlider Replacement Part here.

I purchased a Rambler Tumbler but it didn't come with a Magslider Lid. Can I purchase one now?

We think some products are best used at Base Camp, but if you’re taking your Rambler on the go, yes, you can purchase the Rambler Magslider Lids.

What’s the difference between the MagSlider™ Lid and the Stronghold™ Lid?

The original MagSlider™ Lid is splash resistant, comes in three sizes, has a single-sliding magnet, and presses on. As for the Stronghold™ Lid, it’s leak-resistant, special-made for the Rambler® 591 ML and 887 ML Travel Mugs, backed with double-magnet technology, and twists on for an extra-tight fit.

Does the Stronghold™ Lid fit my other Rambler® Drinkware?

This lid is special made for the Rambler® 591 ML and 887 ML Travel Mugs and won’t fit with other Rambler® Drinkware models.

Is the Stronghold™ Lid leakproof?

The Stronghold™ Lid is leak-resistant (when closed) thanks to its dual-slider magnet technology that adds a strong layer between your free-flowing drink and the outside world. That said, don’t even think about throwing this mug inside your bag. If leakproof drinkware is what you’re after, check out our lineup of Rambler® Bottles and leakproof bottle cap accessories including the HotShot™ Cap, MagDock™ Cap, and Cup Cap.

How do I clean my Rambler?

We suggest using YETI Cleaning Tablets however all Rambler Products are dishwasher safe. If you’re going the dishwasher route, just make sure everything goes where it should to get them as clean as possible.

Rambler body: Standing upside down on the top or bottom rack (depending on where it fits best).

Lids/Bottle Caps: Top rack of the dishwasher away from the heat.

Gaskets: Silverware tray on the bottom rack.

You can also clean your drinkware with dish soap and warm water or use our YETI Cleaning Tablets. Cleaning Tablets are not to be used with Rambler caps or lids. Do not use bleach or abrasive cleaners. For a more thorough clean, remove gaskets and wash and dry separately before reinstalling.

How do I remove tough stains from my Rambler?

Listed below are some techniques to give your Rambler a deep cleaning that will remove tough stains.

  • YETI Cleaning Tablets - Fill your Rambler with hot water, let it sit for 30 minutes and then proceed to dump, scrub, and rinse thoroughly.
  • Stainless Steel Cleaner - Apply hot water and the stainless steel cleaning solution to a soft sponge, mixing thoroughly. Proceed to wipe and rinse your Rambler clean. Please note that we still recommend cleaning your Rambler with soap and hot water.

How do I remove rust from my Rambler?

Stainless steel is rust resistant, but not rust-proof. If you are experiencing rust on your Rambler, you can follow these techniques for removal:

  • Stainless Steel Cleaner - Apply hot water and the stainless steel cleaning solution to a soft sponge, mixing thoroughly. Proceed to wipe and rinse your drinkware clean.
  • Baking Soda or Vinegar – Sprinkle baking soda or vinegar on dampened affected area, let it sit for 5-10 minutes and scrub with a non-abrasive or soft sponge.
